Local SEO

Citation

Quick Definition

A citation is any mention of your business name, address, and phone number on another website, with or without a link.

In context

Citations from major Canadian directories (Yellow Pages, 411.ca, BBB, Yelp) build local trust signals. Niche citations (industry associations, professional bodies) carry the most weight per citation.
