UGC Link (rel='ugc')

Quick Definition

rel='ugc' marks links from user-generated content like comments, forum posts, and reviews.

In context

Forums and comment systems should automatically apply rel='ugc' to user-submitted links. This signals to Google that the link is user-generated and the publisher hasn't editorially endorsed it.
