On-Page SEO
Trailing Slash
Quick Definition
A trailing slash is the '/' character at the end of a URL. Both /page and /page/ technically resolve to the same content but are different URLs.
In context
Pick one convention (with or without trailing slash) and 301-redirect the other to it. Inconsistency creates duplicate content and dilutes ranking signals across two URL versions.
