WebSite

A website. Place once on your homepage to define site-wide identity.

What it is

WebSite is the top-level entity for your domain. Use it once on the homepage with publisher to define the operating organization, and (optionally) with potentialAction (SearchAction) to declare your internal search endpoint. Note: Google's sitelinks search box rich result was deprecated in October 2024, but the markup remains valuable for AI/LLM ingestion.
