What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is an emerging web convention (2024–2026) for declaring a site's preferred LLM-friendly content map at /llms.txt — analogous to sitemap.xml but oriented toward AI agents.
Adoption by major AI engines is partial in 2026 and trending positive. The cost to implement is low (host one markdown file at your domain root); the benefit is non-zero (some AI engines do consume it). For Canadian businesses on AEO-focused programs, it's part of the recommended baseline.
