A page presenting a list of frequently asked questions and answers.

What it is

FAQPage was eligible for the FAQ rich result until August 2023, when Google restricted it to authoritative government and health sites only. The markup is still extremely valuable for LLM citations (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews all parse FAQPage heavily) and remains best practice for any page with a Q&A section.
