Dofollow describes any link without a nofollow attribute — the default behaviour, which passes ranking authority from the linking page to the linked page.

In context

Most editorial links, navigational links, and citation links are dofollow by default. The term is informal — there's no rel='dofollow' attribute, just the absence of nofollow.
